The injured worker suffered a work-related injury on 5/21/2015 when he was loading fiber material into a machine. This resulted in an award on the workers’ compensation case for 53% to his cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, bilateral hands/wrists and shoulders. As a result of this award, the injured worker was awarded $151,684.23 in past-due benefits and will receive $721.75 plus an annual cost of living increase per week for the rest of his life.
